It Pays 2 Wait

Being that I LOVE to decorate I have been interested in just about every house ever listed for sale around me. . . . .  Cody NOT so much! ;-)
In June of 2014 summer had just begun and Cody called to say he found a home he would be interested in looking at, but he didn't know if I would like it as much as he thought he would.  The owners had just decided to sell that morning and it wasn't advertised.  We were headed out of town that weekend so we went out that evening.  It was a beautiful and unique home and there was a lot to process and for me. . . .  to dream/design/renovate/decorate in my mind.  We headed out of town to the lake and of course the three of us couldn't stop thinking about it.  On our way back into town on Sunday we asked if we could come out one more time to fully process what we viewed a few days before.  We decide to make an offer then, but were told they would have to think about it.  Later that evening as the three of us were talking about it some more and relaxing in the hot tub the owners called to confirm that they accepted our offer.

It definately has a million dollar view in our opinion.  We didn't have any idea this would be the view.

The time spent creating the landscaping was very obvious.  It reminded us of a private state park.

The home is a barndominium which is perfect for us:
For Cody: full RV hookup in the shop and storage for our camper
For Audra: every interior wall can be removed or renovated to make my thoughts a reality.
For Lyndon: plenty of concrete for scooters and basketball

Our smiles when our offer was accepted.
